Meet Sarah! Artist & Art Educator
Meet our next maker, Sarah! She is a Bedford resident who loves spreading the love of art! Sarah is an artist and art educator who calls her self a freelance art teacher because she teaches various ages and places. She currently uses print making and fiber in her art work, she also has photography experience. She not only makes her own art but she teaches art classes! Her main focus right now is teaching art classes at the Bedford Recreation Department and The Umbrella Community Art Center in Concord.
Sarah has been an artist and educator for more than 20 years. She has both her BFA and Masters in Education from the Maryland Institute College of Art. For almost 10 years she was a full time high school art teacher at Beaver Country Day School.

MONDAYS - LANE ART -January 6th through March 2nd - 2:40pm*- 4pm at the Lane School Art Room (Kids Club Combo) - Mixed media art making for 3-5 graders
TUESDAYS - EARLY RELEASE ART EXPERIMENTS- January 14th through February 25th - 1:00pm - 2:30pm at the Umbrella Community Art Center- On Concord early release days come experiment with different art techniques
WEDNESDAYS -DAVIS ART - January 8th through February 26th - 1:50pm*- 3:20pm at the Davis School Caf. - Mixed media art making for K-2 graders
THURSDAYS - JGMS ART- January 9th through February 27th - 2:15pm* - 3:40pm at the Middle School Art Room - - Mixed media art making for 6-8 graders
FRIDAYS - ART EXPLORERS - January 24th through March 6th - 9:30am-10:30am at the Umbrella Community Art Center - Preschool adult and child art class
JANUARY 17 - ART WORKSHOP- 9:00 am- 4:00pm - at the Bedford Recreation Department - All day mixed media art making during the no school - teacher professional development day. Ages 1- 5th grade.
TBD - DRAWING TUTORING
* The School based Bedford Recreation Classes are held at the schools. The students are dismissed from class directly to the art class.
