About Ian
Ian got his first introduction to the world of real estate at an early age when his mother began her real estate career on Long Island as he entered kindergarten. Ever since then, he has had a keen interest in the field and a love for the stories she told of helping clients reach their real estate dreams.
Ian has always been driven to help others reach their potential and attain their goals. This passion led him to a career in education with over 12 years experience as an elementary teacher and athletic adminstrator. The correlation between the roles and responsibilities of an educator and an agent have allowed him to showcase his listening, teaching, and communication skills throughout the home buying process. His foundation in education enables him to work closely with clients, identify their unique interests, and adjust his approach to meet their needs.
As a Buyer’s Agent, Ian brings a lot of local knowledge, patience and a positive attitude to his client experiences. He often partners with other agents on the team to assists clients throughout the home buying process from start to finish. He attends home inspections, showing and listing appointments, buyer consultations, and hosts open houses. Ian is excited to continue his growth and education at Suzanne & Co.
Originally from the North Shore of Long Island, Ian earned his Bachelor’s degree in Government from Wesleyan University (Go Cardinals!) in Connecticut and his Master of Education from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. Ian lives in Carlisle with his wife, their four children, and their dog, Maizie. He remains active in the community, serving as Treasurer on the Board of Directors at his local preschool and volunteering with the Carlisle Council on Aging. During his free time, Ian enjoys playing in his men’s soccer league, coaching both of his daughters' soccer teams, hiking through Estabrook Woods, and taking family trips to Wingaersheek Beach.
