Meet Gardy! Managing Partner, Revolution Hall

When a local business opens amidst a global pandemic and is still around to tell its story nearly a year later, we knew we had to get the scoop. We ventured out to Revolution Hall, located on the Bedford line at 3 Maguire Road in Lexington, on a sunny afternoon and discovered that Suzanne and Gardy Desrouleaux - Managing Partner of Craft Food Halls - are truly kindred spirits! They share a passion for building community and creating connections. Hospitality is Gardy’s true calling, and building a concept that allows people to escape the day-to-day and have fun, while enjoying carefully crafted beverages and flavorful food offerings, has been a fulfilling and ever-evolving endeavor. Craft Food Halls originated in Lowell and opened a location in Waltham before expanding to Lexington.

A few fun facts about Revolution Hall & Gardy:

  1. Revolution Hall combines live entertainment, activities, three distinct “fast casual” food offerings, hand-crafted drinks at a full-service bar, and an interactive self-pour beer and wine wall.

  2. The opening was delayed by nearly 6 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, pushing its grand opening to a year after the Waltham location first welcomed guests.

  3. The online ordering system was developed out of necessity, to deliver a contact-less method for the food service. The added benefit? Ordering can happen at the time that suits the individual, even by members of the same party at different times.

  4. The foundation of building & hiring personnel was to show love to everyone, remembering they are people first.

  5. Gardy has a hospitality background, but pivoted for 7 years while developing a software program in Germany before returning to the States.
